Source of Funds

Some further tips as to how to prove your source of funds

It would help the process hugely if you would provide all the relevant documents at the outset including the source of funds evidence.

If your deposit is coming from savings, please be aware that you will need to provide the savings bank account statements (along with your current bank account statements for the last three months) for at least the last six months to demonstrate that the funds have been consistently held in the account for an extended period of time.

If your deposit is coming from a gift and you already hold funds in your savings or current bank account, you will need to show when the gift was received into your account and supply a copy of the bank account statement showing the amount received and from whom. Further, the Donor (i.e. Giftor) will also need to provide his/her own source of funds evidence.

The above requirements must be satisfied so that the Anti-Money Laundering regulations can be complied with.
