There are no hourly fees or hidden rates when we provide you with a price for conveyancing work. We clearly set out the fees and disbursements so you can make an informed decision.

In very exceptional circumstances where something comes to light later on in a transaction that was not evident at the outset that would require more work, such as an absentee landlord or a defective title, we would have to make an additional fee.

 

  Disbursements may include Land Registry Fees and Conveyancing Searches, which vary according to the location of the property and the requirments of the particular mortgage lender. When a leasehold property is involved, there may be fees due to the freeholder or the management company. There is SDLT ("Stamp Duty Land Tax") that you may be liable for when you are buying a property. We have a guide to the rates on our website blog here.
